THINGS CHANGE

Things are going to change.

Throughout our lives, we will encounter “good” change, “bad” change, and changes that feel abrupt. How we respond to these changes, I believe, determines who we are.

I have experienced “good” change through promotions, raises, sobriety, and becoming physically fit. With each promotion, it was essential to continue treating my peers with respect and prioritizing kindness toward all people, regardless of their financial status.

I have also faced “bad” change, such as losing opportunities and friendships, encountering legal trouble, and grieving the loss of someone close to me. Every hardship has offered an opportunity to learn and grow—or not.

Stand firm in your faith, your standards, and be confident in the direction of your life.

Have a great week,

Neal
