THE SUN WILL RISE


I got sober and decided to turn my life around  on Easter weekend. Every year when we celebrate my second birthday, my dad likes to call it my “resurrection day.” The deeper meaning should be obvious to any Christian believer or person educated on the life of Jesus.

 

Before I got clean, I was a “non-believer” in the Christian Faith. I had prayed to God on the day I was arrested and got clean. As a result, I felt the need to further investigate all things related to God or some type of Force. To make a long story short, I found myself back at the doorstep of Christianity and a relationship with Jesus Christ; but found myself doubting parts of the Gospel. God had answered my prayer when I was homeless and desperate, saved me from a suicide attempt, near death car accidents, and brought me back to life when I did manage to die for a few minutes. I figure he would help me believe, if I asked for his help.

 

After praying about it for a while, it felt as if I heard God say: “I put an angel in your car when you tried to drive off of a ledge and I gave you air in your lungs and life when you lost the one I gave you. I worked miracles in your life, and who are you? What do you think I would do for my own son? Did I not give you a father who love you?”

 

I’m not saying that God said those words, but that’s what I heard and that is what I believe. Today, I celebrate a loving God and that his son, Jesus is risen.

WORKOUT OF THE WEEK


Arm Blaster Workout

As always warm up properly before starting your training session and please consult a physician before starting a new exercise regimen.

 

  1. Barbell Curls - 4 sets x 6-8 reps.

  2. Barbell Skull Crushers - 4 sets x 8-10 reps.

  3. Db Hammer Curls 3 sets x 12 reps .

  4. Db Rolling Triceps Extensions 3 sets x 12 reps.

  5. Incline Db Curls 3 sets x 12 reps

  6. Rope Triceps Extensions 3 sets x 12 reps                                


Rest periods at 1-2 mins, but try to stick to the lower end of the rest periods.
