When walking through challenging seasons of life, I remind myself to do a few things:
1. Be realistic. I can’t wish my problems away and don’t want to pretend like there isn’t something that needs to be addressed. It’s ok to acknowledge that things are not perfect. We NEED to acknowledge our reality.
2. Do the things I know I need to do. I can’t ignore the day-to-day stuff that needs to “get done.” Writing a to-do list, setting extra reminders, and simplifying my task list are all helpful when life is more chaotic than usual.
3. Take hope in Gods strength and in his promise on my life. I know there is an end to every difficult situation and I know that our trials and tribulations can make us stronger. This too shall pass.
When life tries to make things complicated , I do my best to keep it simple. Control what you can control.
Have a great week!
