Set people up to win.
Building relationships is about building each other up. When I form a relationship with someone, I am looking for ways to help them and be helped by them. I learn about the people in my life and I try to identify ways to make their life better. With their permission, I assign myself a role in their growth process. If I am asked to leave, I leave. I only participate upon invitation.
One of my favorite ways to do this for people is by setting them up to win. I have been placed in a position of influence, and now find myself structuring plans in different areas. To have a large impact, you must deliver a large effort. This means more people. We can’t do the things the world needs, unless we work with other people. By helping your friends find a way to succeed, you help more people become a part of God’s plan.
This plan only works without pride. you must become motivated to give other people a path. You must allow others to win. You must work hard to see others win. We must be reminded that success is not recognition. Success is doing the job well, and providing a solution.
Help your people get in a position to win!
Have a great day!
