We live in a society that promotes excess. We are constantly being told that someone has the answer to our questions, the solution to our problems. Coincidentally, the solution usually involves the addition of other people into your life. MORE…they say.
I am not saying that people cannot help us solve problems with their products and services. I help people address serious problems for a living. I am also not saying that adding things to your life is a negative thing. Adding healthy habits, people, and messages into my daily living has dramatically changed my life.
Here is what I am saying: The answer is not more things, but better things. Your environment does not need more cool people. We need solid, strong people who care about us. That could be one or two people. We need quality friends, not to increase the quantity of people in our network. Pursue big money, sure. But do not devote all of your time to strictly making money. Your impact is more significant than your bank account.
Be wise with your time. Invite quality people into your life. Pursue meaningful things. Do the most with the body you have been given and eat well.
Live for quality, not quantity.
Have a great week!
