OFF TO A ROUGH START

The occurrence of something bad, can be the beginning of something good.

My recovery began with a very difficult season of life. I had to experience some very negative things to begin a very beautiful life. Sometimes, a climactic event is necessary to end a cycle of harmful events. Bad things can happen when this takes place, and they often do. Unfortunately, the existence of bad things is our reality and we can’t just wish them away, they must be dealt with.

Traumatic events are often catalyst for change. When one single event draws all of your attention away from everything else in your life, it creates a newfound perspective. Small things that used to matter may become insignificant, overnight.

The occurrence of something negative does not have to dictate a negative response.

Have a great week,

Neal
