I can’t un-know what I know.
I remember when I realized Santa Claus does in fact NOT come down the chimney on Christmas Eve. Once I knew what was real, I couldn’t NOT know what was going on. I had been enlightened.
When I started asking myself and other people about how to live the right way, I began a long process of enlightenment. I felt like I had been living at a sticking point, swimming in a chaotic sea of unanswered questions. When I stopped long enough to look up, the waters became calm and the answers rose to the surface.
Now that I know that the answers are there to be found, I search for them. Now that I know right from wrong, I have conviction and get convicted when I lose sight of my purpose. I can’t pretend like it doesn’t exist.
Don’t fight it. Step into it.
Have a great Monday,
Neal
