DON’T FIX THINGS THAT WORK

Certain things aren’t supposed to change.

My dad always told me there’s more than one way to skin a cat. In many cases, it’s important to let people do things their way. As long as the goal is being accomplished, nothing is damaged, and no one is hurt, don’t micromanage people. Let them do their thing.

I set standards in my life because my feelings change all the time, but my performance cannot follow the same trend. Love should never change, except to grow deeper. My work ethic should never change, except to grow stronger. My healthy lifestyle should never change, except to improve.

Remember: hobbies, styles, and even personalities can change, but some things aren’t meant to keep changing. Healthy is healthy. Easy is easy. Hard is hard.

We should elevate our habits, not lower our standards.

Have a great week,

Neal
