What do I spend the majority of my time doing? Wherever I choose to invest my time, is where my heart and my focus will be. 

How much do I care what other people think of me? I cannot be myself when I am focused on who others want me to be for them or their agendas. 

Am I doing what I should be doing or am I trying to impress people with the things that I do? We must live for our purpose and work to pursue a good cause in life, not seeking validation from the approval of others.

Am I doing more for myself than I am for other people? We must first practice self care and to always “keep our own home in order,” but we can’t allow ourselves to think this is all about us – it isn’t. A selfish person in also blind to what truly matters in this world. 

Life is crazy, busy, and expensive; but the people I love and the most valuable experiences don’t require a bunch of money or an extravagant performance. The most valuable things in my life cost only time, but time is the most valuable currency we have – we must spend it wisely. Be present with the ones you love and care for them through patience and understanding, encouragement and support. Find ways to serve others and devote more time to service – avoid a self serving attitude. God is actively working on behalf of those who choose to pursue his will for their lives.

Workout: Speed & Agility – Explosive Athlete Training

Please warm up appropriately before starting your training session.

Focus: Increase speed and coordination for peak performance.

  • Sled Push – 20 yards
  • Box Jumps – 5 reps
  • Lateral Bounds – 10 reps/side
  • Sprint Intervals – 15 seconds on, 60 seconds off
