Great change in the world does not necessarily come from a direct act of God, but indirectly through those who choose to follow Him.
In the beginning, I really misunderstood the way I believed I was supposed to interact with my Creator. I lived as though things from God could only happen when or if divine intervention took place, completely missing the role of Christians here on earth. Not only does God work miracles, but He uses ordinary people to do extraordinary things.
As I’ve grown in my faith and in my proximity to God, I clearly see that it is us who must carry the Spirit within us, so that God may work in and through us. In Ephesians chapter 3, it says, “…His power at work within us.”
I’m not saying we are God. We’re not. But bad things happen in the world because people do terrible things. The Holy Spirit is what I carry within me that changes the way I live and the world around me. Not me, but God through me.
May we be vessels for His will today. 🙏🏼
Have a great week,
Neal
