When life throws you for a loop, it’s good to have a plan in place. This morning’s devotional spoke about God’s plan and the unshakable confidence we gain from the firm foundation He is.
As a child, I remember running to my mom or dad with problems “in hand.” I knew they’d have an answer, a solution…and best of all – they could tell me the PLAN. They had a plan for my problems, a plan for the day, a plan for the week… or so I thought!
As an adult, I’ve learned we don’t actually have a plan for everything. My son still thinks I do, but that’s only because I’ve gotten good at solving problems on the fly. Truthfully, my plans often fall apart. The one plan that never fails, however, is the plan to follow God’s direction; because His plans are sovereign.
Whenever I question the direction of my life, the faith in my heart, or the advice I give my family, I know exactly where to turn: follow God’s plan and look to His Word for the right answers.
So yes, have a plan. But never forget about God’s plan.
Have a great week,
Neal
