Easter is a time of year when I pause to appreciate new beginnings and new life.
My life changed dramatically on Easter weekend twelve years ago. Since then, my dad has referred to that day as my “resurrection day.” It was the day I felt myself die inside, only to be later redeemed by the grace of God. That time reminded me and my family that anything is possible. It showed us that God can work however He chooses, with whomever He chooses.
Today, I reflect on the truth that we serve a gracious God who is actively involved in our lives and has a plan for each of us. He is a God of redemption and new beginnings. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Make it count!
Have a blessed day,
Neal
